S50 Swap into e34?

Just to be clear, you do have to hangs the harness in a non vanos car.

Pardon for bringing up an old post here. I'm in the middle of an S50/5 speed swap into a 92 525iT with a non-vanos engine. I compared the engine harnesses of the S50 and the M50 non-vanos. Looks like the only differences I can see is the oil level sender connector present on the M50 and absent on the S50, and the vanos connector present on the S50 but absent M50.

So the question is...
Can I take the engine harness from an M50 w/ vanos, transfer it to the S50 and everything should plug into the E34?

Any insight would be very much appreciated. TIA.
