Hey guys, So I have decided to drastically change routes here. After dumping tons and time and effort into this car, I am now getting married and will have to put my wife through her masters degree. So I don't feel like letting the car sit for several years and take up space that I don't really have. If anyone wants parts from my car, pm me. I think most parts I have listed that I have on the thread and I will be starting to sell stuff off at about 75% to 80% of list price with free shipping within the lower 48. let me know if interested

Since I don't have access to a car lift anymore, I can't say for 100% sure that nothing serious is bent, But from all the looking around on the car, it doesn't look like anything serious got bent. The floor pan got a tad mushed but not too bad.

Yes I am doing the bodywork myself... I bent the hood, messed up the drivers side fender really bad. Passengers fender was bent a tad so I picked up a new hood and two fenders. The bumper was trashed as well as valiance, but I found some from local guys that were in better condition than what was on the car before the crash. Got some xenon halo headlights from ebay and am trying to get them to work.

    What happened?

Well what really happened, was I had so many mods done to the car, that I barely had any time to get accustomed to driving it around in the city. I had finished the build on a thurday, did a presentation in front of the faculty of my technology department literally 15 mins after tying up a couple loose ends on the car, and then drove everything down to Cali on friday morning. One week and a half later, I came into a corner a tad too fast and slid into a fence. Now I am back to stock bottle caps and a mismatched car... yay....

Very slowly, I got new xenon halo headlights to stick in, but now my heater core decided to blow up, so I gotta fix that first

Yeah the speedo works good. It is about 5mph off, but that is well within BMW spec. The speedo runs off the abs module and reads the wheel speed from the drivers rear wheel sensor. Most everything on my dash works. Having trouble with the cruise working and the fuel tank sensor is definitely not working.
