Where Do These Wires Connect?

the 2 with the squareish ends both go on the big post on the starter, one should come from the B+ post, the other should come from the alternator.

its not a black wire, its just hiding under black protective wrap, bmw has confused many swappers with this trick.

Yeah i uncovered the wrap and was a bitch surprised it's red. My main concern is the black wire comin off the passenger side firewall that goes to the starter with the m20 in there. This wire is not part of the e36 harness, and i've got pictures of it and the terminal it connects to. But i think i may have it figured out, not sure yet.

pretty sure any of the the old wires from the M20 are no longer needed.

I used the M20 starter wires with my M3 starter on my swap.
