absolutely i was just saying that out of all the articles written you wuld figure at least one of them would say "BTW if oy hadnt realized by now you need to enlargen the holes on the tranny brace to accept the larger diameter studs from the E21 mounts."
out of all the little details the current articles mention this would seem like something that would be mentioned. -

i found this out too and everyone above is correct however i always wondered if everyone knows about this already then why does every single DIY or how to thread that mentions E21 mounts work great never once say oh yea you have to file out the holes lol..Leave a comment:

thats normal bolts on the e21 mounts at m12(iirc) and e30 mounts are m10
