    Car got smoked

Today I finally was able to remove the broken bolts from the thermostat. I put everything back together started the car and it sounded great. The temp gauge was rising up slowly, it past the half mark. The radiator was still cold, so were the hoses. Then the gauge was on red but, yet, the radiator and hoses were cold so was the engine. I assumed it was the temp sensor that was bad. Just to make sure I left it running for a good 30 minutes, also, while reving the car. Everything was good so I drove it home (shop to home= 10-15 minutes). The car drove fast and sounded good. Right when I pulled into my drive way, a much of smoke started coming from the a/c vents, good thing I had the windows down, lol.

The radiator is warm/cold you can leave your hands there for a while. The hoses were hot and so was the engine but not hot that you cant touch it without burning yourself. Theres a small puddle of coolant in the drivers side and I looked under the car and it's leaking coolant from where the tranny is.

My question is what could of cause this? Could it be that I received a bad waterpump? Gettin tired of this car, I'm planning on selling it soon.

It has, M42 radiator, fan delete kit, new waterpump, aux. fan and electric fan.

Stuck thermostat or failed waterpump are the possibilities. Add to that a new head now.

Yeah, probably. The thermostat and waterpump are brand new though.

New parts have known to be bad. Don't rule them out.

I probably didn't bleed it properly.....

              Update
Looks like the heater core from the inside cracked because I bleed the system and filled it up with water only and the cabin started to flood with the water from where the heater box is located. That's where its coming from the bottom where the tranny is at. What could of cause this? air in the system? Too much coolant?

The air is getting in, where the coolant is getting out.
This also means that the cooling system is not being pressurized .
Fix the leak, bleed till the aux fan comes on, and you should be ok .
