Plumbing: What is appropriate for a 5 bar fuel system?

High(er) pressure fuel system people--what have you found to be reliable at holding 5 bar?

I haven't had a chance to inspect any stock pieces first hand. I think BMW uses some special lines / fittings. What are they?

My idea is to copy what jlevie has--high pressure Bosch 040 in stock location, with a lift pump in the level sensor hole feeding the stock side of the fuel tank via a transfer hose/pipe, to avoid fuel starvation. However, the operating pressure of the system will be slightly higher. The stock pump fittings are those barbed fittings.

Is it enough to use Oetiker clamps over the stock barbs on injection rated hose? Or should I braze / weld something on, like a flared piece of hardline?

I use regular hose clamps on the stock barbed ends with twin 044's, works fine no leaks.
Need a Turbo manifold? We have them in stock- Click here---> http://rapidspoolindustries.com/

yeah I'm running a bosch 040 in the stock location (stock in tank pump, I have a 87 2-pump car) on stock lines; had to figure out some fittings for the 040 but it works well; esp since I think I was running out of fuel with the stock setup (had a flat spot in the power band over 6200, pulls to 7k now no problem). I just used barbed fittings and some worm gear style hose clamps.
Greg 1987 325is (fairly far from stock at this point)
