That does seem like a great price.

It actually makes over 480whp currently, probably very close to, if not over 500whp but... that's with my head an further tuning. That said, the kit itself it very capable and fun in the E30. I do not have ANY traction issues, I can mat it in 2nd with 3.46's in the rear. With the 2.93's, I had good traction in first as well.

I really need to move this stuff, I have a small garage and I will not be able to store everything once I start my turbo conversion.

I wanted this but it seems everyone that has a SC is going Turbo lately. Guess I need to rethink how I go FI.

It's the natural progression. S/C is the first step. The horsepower addiction is a strong one.

Well this is true but most guys building E30's aren't putting out high whp in the e30 chassis. This set up rocks in the e30, great traction from the bottom of second gear on etc. I am only going turbo because I am looking for low 10's in the 1/4. I have a GT4088r turbo, which should put me around the 650-700whp mark... If you're not interested in making big whp, trying to run sub 11's, the S/C is a very good fit for the e30 chassis.

I can tell you this, if I wasn't shooting for a low ET/ very high trap speed, I would leave the car supercharged. Traction is a very nice thing to have on the street.

As an example, I run about even (when I had 2.93 diff) with my buddy's C5 vette. He makes 463whp and 440wtq. This is NA and compares to most E36 turbo kits floating around except he has power off idle. Since I upgraded my diff to a 3.46, I think I will be able to get him by a car now.

It's all about what you want. If you’re not planning on making over 400whp/wtq with a turbo, I would go with this SC. If you plan to make well into the 4's, turbo is the right choice for you.
