    ICV mounting question

My ICV is currently not held in place by anything other than the hoses attached to it, it keeps causing a vacuum leak when it pulls out of the intake manifold.

I can't seem to find the diagram that shows the ICV and its mounting on realoem or bmwfans, anybody know where it is on there?

Or even better anybody have a picture of how their ICV is mounted?

    Thanks in advance.

Theres normally a little bracket thats part of the metal bracket that bolts to the block. which holds the wires from the harness. cant remember which was the better one. The one from obd1 or obd2 cars.
otherwise it seems zipties are your friend if you dont want it to move.

The obd 1 wiring harness bracket has a spot for the icv to be used with a m50 manifold it looks like two arrows sticking out.

The icv is then held on by a rubber ring that mounts to these two prongs.

      Hope that helps!

I may have an extra obd1 harness bracket if you need it.
