    Problem with fuses

I'm having trouble that when I turn the car on the fuse number 10 shorts out.... And sometimes fuse 3 also shorts out. I've replaced all the fuses because they were cheap brand fuses and fuse 3 hasn't shorted out but fuse 10 keep blowing out... Anyone had this problem?

I am way too tired to even bother looking at a fuse chart right now but find a system that is common to the two fuses and work from there something is obviously shorting out.

A common cause for fuse #10 blowing is the reverse light wire which goes through the shifter hole gets worn down and keeps grounding against the body.

Looks like it was the reverse light wires.... I just unplug it for now

Now next question. My speedometer stopped working after the swap, I've checked the back of cluster to see if it was unplug but everything look fine. What can it be?
Also when in driving the car it seems like it chokes if I try to pass 3500 rpm mark on any gear. Is this because I don't have a chip? Or is it a vacuum leak? I checked all the hoses and they all look to be tighten.

Your tach would stop working but your speedo would work if it was the reverse lights.

I meant the speedo stopped working after the engine swap not after removing the reverse lights. The tach still work after removing the reverse light.
