Full exhaust for right now + after swap

I just picked up a 1986 325e yesterday that will be swapped most likely this winter, maybe a bit later, who knows.

It's currently got a hole in the exhaust and I'm going to get it fixed this week. I was planning on doing a full exhaust when I get the M50 swap for a bit more sound and HP, and I was wondering if I could buy it now, put it on the M20 and then hook it up to the M50 in the future?

    Thanks

yes, anything can be done with enough time and money.

It won't fit the M50 perfectly, but it shouldn't be too hard to modify if you use the OEM m50 exhaust manifolds. It you use headers for your M50, the exhaust will need to be cut and adapted to fit.

Okay well I'll go to the shop and see what they want to fix the hole. If it isn't too much then there's no need to shell out $$ for an exhaust right now.

      Thanks for the help
