Trying to fig out what kind of block i have on the motor i just got....I know I got a m50 head but making sure about the block too

m52 will have a place for the crank sensor on the bottom, drivers side of the block near the rear. Both have a place for it on the timing cover.
Pretty sure the m50 will not have this but not positive.Last edited by samiam3356; 10-10-2010, 03:17 PM.

Also, the oil filter housing, the valve cover is metal not plastic.I got a fender roller now! LMK if you need me to roll your fenders or want to rent the tool from me locally.
