Swapping a GR260 for a ZF

I decided I didn't like the gearing on my ZF so I'm shoving in a GR260. I have an M50 dual mass, M50 starter, spec stage 4 clutch, M50 slave, TO bearing, etc etc.

Can I just slap in my GR260 with the drive shaft and fab a cross brace and be happy? Will the M50 throw out bearing work in a ZF? I know you need a euro TO bearing for a 240.

You need the driveshaft that went behind the g260 tranny, the TOB works, dunno if the dual mass from the m50 fits in the bellhousing though I've never heard of anyone using it with a g260.

Yup, you just need to use the pilot bearing for the 260.

flywheel/clutch/PP will definitely fit as I have a 240mm unit from an e36 m3 stuffed in mine. You'll keep the m50 starter obviously to mesh with the flywheel. I used the G260 throw out bearing. You'll need the proper length driveshaft as mentioned and to cut/weld or easier just heat up and twist your shifter components to get them to line up. And the cross brace you already mentioned. That oughta do it.

Twist and bend to shorten it. No heat necessary though.

so M20 pilot bearing or M20 throw out bearing? I'm kind of confused as to if I need either or neither.

M20 pilot as it is 12mm, M50 is 15mm

throwout bearings are identical, so either or. I have an M20 one in my ZF...

Dual mass conversion kit

Can't you use a Valeo Dual Mass conversion kit for this instead of the dreaded Dual Mass flywheel that rattles? I have one on my car, it really works perfect and is about half the cost of just the DM flywheel alone.

Being that I know Yoshi knows the answers to the questions in this thread I figured he was just wanting to make small talk.

And I poke Yoshi on fb all the time, sometimes you need to do it in different places to keep the chemistry alive.
