I'm sure it's been said a million times already, but to all of you who have paved the way for the 24V E30 swap, THANK YOU. I was able to fire up my OBDI S52 tonight in the very first try (umm, after tightening up a loose hose clamp on a heater hose, that is). It's a testament to the awesomeness of this website as a resource for successfully performing an E30 motor swap. I pretty much did all this without having to post any new threads...all I had to do was search.
I was worried that I missed something because of all the crap I did to the motor "while I'm in there", but it all just magically worked!
Full OBDI conversion
Shrick 264 cams
3.5" MAF
24lb injectors
OBDII manifolds
Beisan systems VANOS rebuild
S6S-420G transmission
3.73S
Now to finish the damned thing and get it on the road! :)
By the way...anyone in NorCal know where I can find a cheap E36 M3 muffler I can gut?
