The output flange on my 5 speed transmission from an E34 has 12mm holes. I have a 5 speed driveshaft with 10 mm holes. Is it possible to just drill out the holes to 12 mm on the drive shaft and then buy an E30 guibo with 12 mm holes and every thing will fit like it should? Or could I just enlarge 3 holes on the guibo to 12 mm and leave everything else like it is?
The guibo I bought for the car is 26 11 7 511 454 and has the 12 mm holes. It's way too big though. It's listed for a 95 E34 manual transmission too. The flange on the trans looks like it would take the standard E30 110 mm guibo but it has 12mm holes and not 10mm.
