    Coolant Expansion Tank

I have a late model expansion tank im trying to install into an early model car but I don't see where it lines up. From all the stickies and searches it sounds like it should just bolt in somewhere.

    Anyone have a decent picture?

You'll need to drill mounting holes for the mounting bracket.
Just make sure when you install it that the cap isn't so high that it hits the hood.

Not my photo, but I have the same exp. tank, but switching to M42 rad.

The expansion tank is held by that brace you can see right next to the ABS (red). On the side of the exp. tank you see those three holes for bolts? you could utilise those to hold it.

There is also a slide on thingy seen here under the exp. tank:

Part #10. There is a short threaded rod welded to the body, onto which this plastic part just screws on.

              Thanks for the pictures.

I am going to add a threaded rod so I can use part number 10, looks like the simpler way.

How about fabbing one up or buy one and put in where the battery goes on the cab's

You may also want to weld in a |_______| shape support for that curved bottom holder thing.
