Help!! Wich exhaust????

I run an E36 M3 exhaust with my S50 E30.

I used the 95 M3 cat and E36 M3 Remus cat back exhaust. I had a local muffler shop build the custom down pipe from the exhaust manifolds into the cat.

This gives you an idea of how it sounds.

I LIKE!!!! Sounds good! But just poured all the $$$ on that stromung and dont know if i can purchase one right now. This exhaust is only 6months old. Im thinking of custom piping from the headders all the way past the cat and connecting an e36 M3 exhaust. How about that?

I think it really depends on how loud and clean you want it to sound.
If your going for quiet and stock appearing , e36 m3 is the obvious choice. Take it all to a muffler shop, tell them where you want the tips to end and your done...
I personally like my setups pretty loud but clean sounding. Both my e30's had all magnaflow setups.
stock headers, 2.25 dual in to 2.5" single out Y pipe (magnaflow for $35 or less), 2.5" in/out magnaflow highflow cats($100 or less), 2.5" in/out magnaflow muffler( got my last one brand new for 52 shipped) then did whatever I wanted with the tips. Muffler shop should charge no more than 200 to weld all that up for you. So basically for 400 bucks you get a custom header-back exhaust.
I seriously get nothing but praise on my exhausts. They are always deep down low, up to a clean but still signature euro rasp.
