EWS immobiliser system

Hi Guys !

Is there a way to identify if an engine (M50/S50) has the EWS immobiliser system?

Has anyone experienced issues with this electronic immobiliser when doing the swap?

You need to look at the DME.

If its a silver label 413, you have EWS, but companies like TRM make chips that disable this feature.

The way to go is to find a red label 413, which does not have EWS.
