    m50 swap on diesel e30

    hey guys.

    from what i know now is that i´m one of a handfull diesel owners in here. i got an 88 324td touring (euro, my dailydriver ).

    on monday after some airfilter cleaning my turbo went, and before i´ll do a rebuilt or get an used crap i´ll go for the right swap.

    so i got an m50b25tu from an 93 e34 touring manual with all stuff i need. zf tranny with 3bolt flange, complete engine incl. harness etc. laying around in our garage.

    is there anyone in here who had done a similar swap ? m21 to m50 ?

    i have some questions about the fuel pump and the diesel c101. (i read all main wiring thread´s, diagrams etc...)

    i´ll going for an e28 fuel pump wich is not located intank. what signal needs the engine harness on the fuel pump connector ?

    i hope somebody could give some explain :)

    i read also on wedophones the e34 524td connector but i´m not sure if it´s the same as in the e30.

    I think it would be tight to run a souped up M43 Diesel. I just think it would be damn near impossible to get one over here.
