Just hoping you guys can shine some light on this for me.
Engine is an s52 with a 3.5" HFM. and TRM chip for 3.5"HFM.
I've been getting a CEL when I really put my foot down for a while now, the CEL will come on at full throttle around 4500rpms under hard acceleration and during extended WOT going up hills. It will just flash on and off again right away during the hard acceleration but if it comes on going up a hill it tends to stay on for like ten minutes of driving.
Anyway I bought a peake scanner to read the code since for some reason the stomp test stopped working (not too sure on that one, I already tried another TPS) and I'm getting a Peake code 29 which the booklet so helpfully calls "air flow sensor."
What I would like to know is what if anything could cause this code other than the MAF itself?
And no I haven't even tried cleaning it yet. Lol.
