    started but wont start again??

    So I put everything together. and the first try it started!
    buttt... it wouldn't stop so i disconnected the coilpacks. after that it wouldn't start anymore. it cranks and it sounds like it fires in 2 cylinders but won't keep going. its an 84 318i m50vanos swap. anyone have any clue to why the car wont start?

      So I redid the timing and it started again. then it died. then I tried starting it again and the same problem happened..

      is there any reason to why the timing would get thrown off?

              i retimed it and tightened the m10 bolts on the exhaust shaft tighter. and everythings good now. yayyy
