    s52 swap maf hfm code

    just fired up my s52 obd1 swap idles at 1500 rpms and I have a maf fault code its trm chipped ero maf(new),24 inj,93 oct,light flywheel option.
    Car is almost on empty with 5 month old 87 octane,throttle cable is adjusted properly,Later today I will put some fresh gas in but I cant find any info on how to test the maf.Its a brand new maf so im not sure its bad.Thanks

    First of all why didn't you drain the tank or add some fresh fuel? Remove the maf and clean it with electrical cleaner.

    What MAF is installed? 3.5 or is it still 3.0? Is it the maf for the current tune of the chip?

    Edit, your swap should not idle that high, is it hanging up on the ICV? Have you tapped the gas to see if the idle comes down?

      just wanted to hear it run ,im not driving it yet.its the 3.5 with the correct tune for it.Is their a way to clean the icv?

            Try looking for a vacuum leak also. High idle issues can also be caused by the TPS or throttle body being out of adjustment.

              will do ,thanks.It does idle very smooth though . I just cleaned the icv going to do the maf tomorrow and put fresh gas in it.
