    M50TU Ford Injectors

I was working on my swap yesterday and noticed that I have Blue Ford Injectors. I bought the motor with it. Is it ok to use on this motor? or should I try to find a stock injectors?

    Thanks!

I'm using the green ford 42lb fuel injectors.

Find out what size the injectors are, and then see if your ecu has a aftermarket chip for them.

alright cool. interesting enough, idk if this makes a difference, but apparently i'm running a M3 ecu, is it even compatible with the m50?

Yes they use the same ECU. The chip is the difference.

Found out I have Ford Blue # F1TE-D5A, according to turnermotorsports, they are 24lb injectors.

They say it's not safe without a tune, is that true?

You definitely need your chip to match your injectors.

"Safe" or not, I'm not sure. Your car is fairly likely to run like crap and waste a bunch of fuel with those injectors and a stock chip.

Oh ok cool. I might just try to find a set of stock injectors for the time being then.
