do u all use @ M50 swaps no headers just the original M50 manifold?

I used the original manifolds for a while on my m50, the cast ones, not the obd2 ones. I got rid of them for headers eventually.

I still have OBD2 manifolds on my M50NV swap. They go straight into shitty crush-bent custom made downpipes then into the stock M20 catback.

It sounds pretty good from outside the car, it's maybe a tad louder than a stock M20 exhaust but you get a nice burble whenever you roll off the throttle. Too bad it's not loud enough to hear over the intake from inside the car. :(

I had the m50 ones, but switched to ODB2 headers - but I probably should not have done that if I wanted to try to get my swap passed by the state ref for smog.

The smog refs are really smart enough to pick up on the stainless vs. cast manifolds? Impressive.

Does it really fit the E30+M50 without modifications? I have also been looking at German ebay and found that m50 headers are very cheap, perhaps they are made in China?

Iam planning to use something like that with a E36 M3 catalysator.
