I used stock sachs kit including throwout bearing for 325.the straps let go on the pp.I was not driving too hard either car shifted great no noise nothing took a hard corner and lost the ability to shift.the assembly looked good.only thing I cant figure out is why the pilot bearing was sitting in the pp when I pulled the tranny,it went in hard with a socket.

What bearing did it come with? My last kit came with a .002" undersized no named brand bearing made in china, that caused serious vibration around idle and wouldnt clear up to 3200 rpm.
Did the car have similar symptoms?
when I bought a skf bearing it fixed it. it was .002" larger than my pilot that came with my oem sachs kit.84 318I Delphin RIP

No noise ,honestly everything seem perfect until I could not shift.I think the pilot bearing most likely came out with the tranny since I never heard any noise at all.I believe I used the pilot bearing that came with the sachs clutch kit, says KBC Korea.Good tip though I will put an SKF in just for good measure.Im going to replace the clutch and pp with a performance setup since I really dont know what happened here.
Anyone have any experience with clutchmasters? thinking about the fx300
