I don't have pics, but ebay headers, into 2 1/4 into magnaflow cat into a magnaflow muffler. I think i'mg onna switch to obd1 manifolds if i keep the car. I hate the damn headers, they rattle and are raspy as shit.

What cats do you use and how low do they sit? Mine sit kinda low so I opt to use something else instead. I want to run cats to make the exhaust a little more quiet.

couple catco cats. i drive this thing every day so its gotta pass emissions, and not draw the wrong kind of attention. probably makes less than the old catless setup but the difference is pointless.

the cats aren't low, but one of the flanges is so its not big deal. my old car was even lower than this one so ive learned how to drive accordingly. mugen lips get real expensive.

But I am running a y-pipe into a single 2.5" all the way to a straight through borla muffler. no cats no resonator. its uhhh.. loud.

This IS hands down the most interesting pipe of all!! LOL

Awesome! I'm stoked to see it fits, I just picked up an E36 M3 exhaust from the midsection-back, including the muffler. I have the same questions as Jizo for you.

The guy at the muffler shop took about 3 hrs to fit it. It wasn't easy and I was a little picky on the pipes fitting.

I'm pretty happy with the overall setup. I'm 32 and my loudy exhaust trip is way behind so it fits my needs very well. I think I can say that it's an OEM+ sound. :up:

Wheels are BBS RS 15x8.5 et06 and 15x9 et00. I'm presently looking for some 6.5'' barrels to widen them to 15x10.

So, does it still sound good rolling around, and when you really get on it? I've never been a fan of loud exhaust, but I like a good rumble while I'm driving around, and I want to hear it when I get on it. Induction probably helps with that, too.

It's a great sound, I can't really explain it since I'm a french Canadian and I'm not enough good in english to express things like that. My friends tell me that the sound fits well the car, a powerful clean sleeper. Like I said earlier I'm the kind of guy who hates when neighbors watch you when you enter the street. Well, they watch me but for others reasons.

I think a header would wake up a bit the sound.
