Swapping M20 starter gear into M50 starter

Hey all, has anybody here changed their starter gear for the M20 flywheel over to the M50 starter for use with the Getrag 260 and M20 flywheel? Is it worth doing? Or is it easy enough to bolt the M20 starter up to the M50?
