I think everybody here that stuck with the e30 tranny and 3.73 gearset is pretty happy with everything. the 3.25 would be a little low for an e30 tranny i think.

With a 7k r3v limit you'll look like this:

1st - 39mph
2nd - 68mph
3rd - 107mph
4th - 150mph
5th - 186mph
65mph cruising speed 2500
100mph cruising speed 3750

with a 3.73:

1st - 34mph
2nd - 60 mph
3rd - 94mph
4th - 131mph
5th - 162mph
65mph cruising speed 2750
100mph curisng speed 4250

The acceleration gains you'll get from the 3.73 would be worth it in my opinion.
