506 DME on M50?

I've got a 94 Vanos M50, will a Silver 506 DME work with this motor? Also, does is have EWS?

The stock chip in the 506 will be for an S50, but it should run. It *should* not have EWS. YMMV.

ok cool thanks. having problems starting the car thats why. I took the motor from a previously running swap car with the same harness, 506 DME, and motor and it cranks over but doesn't start in the new shell.

Check to see if you powered the fuel pump also check the fuel line to see if they're in the correct way just for piece of mind
