obd1 m52 question: Who runs a performance chip and what kind?

TRM? Ebay? What are you guys running and what do you like? Is it worth it?
I'm completely stock and want to see what are some of you obd1 m52 guys are running, if anything at all.

Thoughts? Imput?

I ran an Active chip with my obd1 m52 with m3 cams and that thing killed in my touring.

I just don't think they are worth putting them into a good motor with that kind of scoring.
What do you think? Would you throw them into a car or are they pretty trashed?

Yeah I'm in the same boat. I'm looking for a chip for my m50 with s52 internals...so basically an s52 with a 0 261 200 413 DME.

Sometimes the lobes/bearing surfaces can be cleaned up with the right combo of fine abrasive products...I'm not the guy to ask about it, but you might try researching it...

got the trm tune for my obd1 m52. As said before, you wont be dissapointed.

I will research what Chase suggested and then if I can use the cams without any detrimental outcome, I will be more than happy to purchase a trm chip with s50 cam combo.
