Couple m50 questions plus pics

Well I have started the adventure and have my m20 laying on the floor right now. Keep in mind my car is a 1987. My questions are:
1. Can I use the stock radiator
2. Can I use the stock coolant res.
3. Can I put the m50 and an e36 tranny in together.
4. Will the e36 tranny mount up right with everything else.
5. Will the m20 headers work on the m50?

1) You could with custom plumbing, be much easier to just use an 88+ radiator and thats what most of us have done.

3) Yes, if this is your first time putting an engine in have a buddy help you that knows what they're doing and a load leveler
4) Yes for the most part. Look at your transmission output flange and driveshaft end, you may have to make some changes
5) Headers as in exhaust manifold? or down pipes?

The tranny will bolt right up to the driveshaft using the e30 guibo. If you got the e36 vibration dampener use that, other wise just tighten the bolts till the guibo bends a bit. Make sure you get them very, very tight... mine were too loose and I snapped all three on a spirited drive.

Nither the m20 exhaust manifolds or the down pipes really work.... the manifolds dont for sure, the the downpipes will need modification.

Just a Wyotech fender cover or an actual shop?? Just curious
