M52 engine build questions?

I have a M52B28 that I recently picked up and needed to get it honed. Apon further inspection from my machine shop they told me it might need to be bored slightly:-x So my only worry is that I wanted a M52 bore but now it looks like I'm going to have to go to S50 pistons with m52 rods, M52 crank?

Will that work? I plan on turboing the car in the next few months, would tuning be a pita to find for my setup? What would my engine be considered? 2.9?

We can tune any displacement motor, but if you're that far into it already, why not get forged pistons? Forged rods?

For this motor I plan on doing stock components. I definitely plan on going wiseco pistons later on my other motor.
