Does anyone have some detailed pics of their engine bay I could look at. I am curious on how an 87 or below mounted the coolatn reservoir and ran the wiring across. Thanks guys.

Cut the plug off the stock side for the coolant, track the wires back to the drivers side, pull them through the harness, cut to length, solder the plug back on, and rewrap the wire in electrical.

What about mounting the coolant res. Any comonly used ideas or should I just fab one up?

ill take some pics for you, i just got a new camera.

you can see it has two brackets, both welded right to the strut tower.

Not to be an ass...but considering this is in the m/S5x swap thread...and you need an 88+ coolant res on the other side...why would I need to know where the stock one mounts when I took it off of there in the first place.... :roll:

For some reason even I thought that is what you wanted.

I have yet to run the wiring across, its just 2 wire so its simple.

Well when I say ran the wiring across....there would not be any need for this from an 87 or below since the wiring is already there. Sorry if you guy's misunderstood me. :oops:
