Um no, run like a bitch. Just for refrence, usually and engine isnt sitting at that angle and when it is its usually bad, very bad.

With the impact and fire about the only thing left are the bumper, sideskirt, and maybe 3 wheels.
    Im now E30less.

There is a chance the engine is unharmed but I see a crack in the runner in the intake manifold and the strut brace is bowed which means those shock towers are a LOT closer than they should be.

If that engine IS bad I cant see you getting 3k out of it easily because of the fire. Fire kills a lot, even more than it touches.

I say buy it. Who gives a shit if hte runner is broken, you are gonna convert it to OBD1 anyway.

I just looked at the pics...and yea, id probably buy it, for $3k the car thats a steal.

The angle it sits at is surprizing. As long as the block isn't broken i would buy it.

I would look twice at those pictures.

The block could be trashed, and at that point, your out almost 3g's.

I was looking at the same ad a few hours ago.

IF the motor is in good running shape, and 4 wheels are salvageable like he says, I'd say go for it. I know I would if I had the cash at the moment.

That is what is scaring me. Ive seen horrible results when something is forced to move 4 inches in .001 of a second. The car my engine came out of was t-boned but in the rear and the engine compartment was left alone and one engine mount still broke. I wouldnt be shocked by anything in an engine bay that shrunk.

Wow. I wouldn't touch that either. That strut bar is bent like crazy. I'm cautious though...but the only car I would really look into getting a motor out of would be some slight front end impact or a rear end hit. Flames....crazy angle...completely dominated car...not my bag of tea.

I thinkI take a look at the car in person, as I know first hand take pictures can sometime make things look worse then they are (or even hide some stuff too).
