No start, oil pan ground issues, fuel pump no go. (jump to pg 2)

these two plugs come from the e36 harness and i have on idea where they go. The larger 4pin male plug has a metal bracket on it if that helps at all.

The 4pin fella should be the o2 sensor...have you hooked yours up yet? On the e36 harness it comes around on the left side, which is the side in the pic...*I think*

List the sensors that you've hooked up thus far, will probably help us help you :)

the 4 pin is on the drivers side, under the ICV area. The other plug is comes from the same spot and is roughly the same length. Maybe Cruise control?

      Hooked up:
      MAF
      TPS
      Intake mani plug
      IVC

Oil pan is a 3 prong. Do some e36s have 2 O2 sensors? maybe so

            Please leave feedback below, thanks

                Win!^

It's been a while since I dealt with an OBDI harness. However you will want to run the back up light connector on the car already just plugs in the same.

Thanks! I hope to have the car up and running tomorrow. Where is the back up light hook up?

It doesn't. You can just leave it dangling.

alright, thanks. Would it be okay to just cut and wrap it where it comes out of the harness?

The dangling wire is going to bother me.

Just be sure you already have the charcoal canister purge valve thing hooked up.

The purge valve is plugged in. I also removed the charcoal canister and ran the vent line directly to the purge valve then to the TB. From what ive read this is legit?

also, the fuel pump is not running at all when i turn the ignition on. I siphoned the fuel lines to try and prime the pump, but all i got was a mouth full of gas and still no pump.

                              thoughts?
