    95 m3 trans in 94 325is

Have the trans from a 95 m3 I'm parting out, someone has a 94 325is and needs a trans. Curious about driveshaft and clutch fitment. Thanks in advance.

The 95 m3 trans would be a zf-310 and the 325 is most likely a getrag.
Either way you will most likely have d-shaft and shift linkage differences.
Can probably adjust the d-shaft to work but may have to change the linkage.

DS wont work. Clutch will work fine. Shifter will sort of work fine.

He'll want your shifter and he will need the driveshaft out of a later M3/328, or to swap the input flange on the diff. (This is risky - you have to get the nut back to the same spot, or you will crush the washer and destroy the diff.)

The Flange at the trans is why you cant use the getrag DS on the M3 trans and vice versa....

clutch from his car will work, or he will need the clutch/dual mass from the m3?

I have the driveshaft from the m3 that could go with the sale

Clutch will work fine, you just have to make sure it stays together as a kit, IE: m3 clutch/pp/fw or 325 clutch/pp/fw. And yeah he'll need that DS. If you don't sell it to him sell it to me, I néed one ;)
