    OBDII headers

    yes i searched.

So my car has OBDII headers, but the flange on the header closest to the front is aimed directly at the subframe/control arm. How are you guys modifying/setting up your piping with these headers? pics would be a great help.

    thanks,
    Joe

I've heard tweaking the header away from the subframe works (aprox. 1/2"). Otherwise, custom welds, shimming the motor up, ect.
    Need a part? PM me.

      it will clear.

when changing out the midpipe, you have to lift the motor up a little and then install the exhaust. bolt everything up, then lower the motor and tighten the motor mount and call it a day.

      i have:
      -obdII exhaust mani
      -e36 obdI midpipe
      -98 m3 muffler.
