    R3v, choose my muffler

I have a 318is, with an m50 going in it.

However, I have a single cut-out for exhaust. Please recommend me some nice mufflers for say 3" in 3" out?

And also some nice muffler with dual tips, I'm not against making my exhaust hole a bit bigger, but will do it right...

    thanks
    -Matt

ps: Ill be running 325i exhaust all the way back for the piping

    Please leave feedback below, thanks

I hear remus=rust, no personal experience tho. Gotta suprasprint coming for my m20, I would recommend going with them. They've probably got something that will work for you. Takes about 4-5 weeks to ship from Italy if no one has one in stock.

e36 m3 stromung exhaust. I have it on my newly finished m52 swap and it sounds so money right now. No rasp, no crazy noises that aren't needed. Keeps the stockish sound with some serious balls. And be careful about that midpipe. The part of the pipe after the headers and before the cats will hang ridiculously low. Low as in you'll scrape on damn near any hump in the road higher than two inches. Something needs to be done about that.

That exhaust is so big and heavy for a 318is. It is shaped so awkwardly that if and when you have to dremel out a bigger exhaust hole in your rear valence, you will cut much more than you want which makes things look a lot worse. That's the only reason I went with the e36 m3 stromung setup. Much smaller, 40 pounds lighter, sounds way better, and actually fits how you would want an exhaust to fit.

I have an e36 m3 exhaust and I'm throwing it away. Perfect condition but no good.
