    Junkyard Find.

Went to pick n pull in Kelowna, British Columbia and found this beaut in a 95 325is. Spent the afternoon with my dad and a good friend pulling it out. My e30 is excited.

Planning on swapping into my 1989 316i. http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=194922

What parts, tools do i need for the swap? Is it hard? Has anyone ever done this on here?

Ha kidding.... I will be slowly collecting bits and pieces required for the swap from now until the summer. Planning on having it in by the end of August.(Go to uni 200 miles away from my house)

I will be documenting this slow swap, keep an eye out!

not for the faint of heart, but It can be done with minimal trouble and lots of patience.

200 hundy Can. The previous owner hit something with the oilpan, and also broke an engine arm... However it turns over, has good compression, and under the Valve cover looks mint.

ya it was a pretty good score, the reason why we got it so cheap was because the oil pan was cracked. (cause of write off) So i lol'ed, knowing i needed to replace it anyways ;)

Make sure you pull off a couple main bearing caps to see what the bearings look like. If they are ok, u r likely good. If you take a rod cap off, you will need to replace the bolts.
