    24v Swap Cooling Fan help!!!

    Alright....

I was originally under the impression that my S50US was coming with a 16" electric cooling fan but.... it didn't

I've already bought an E30 specific Godspeed Radiator. I've read that the stock M20 fan/clutch will work but with a M42 radiator.

My question is if I want to stick with my new stainless steal radiator is the only option to buy an electric pusher coolant fan?

Or will my stock M20 fan work?

I'm starting my motor swap tomorrow and only have a week to finish so I need a quick fix for now.

    Thanks in advance!

Mmmm, it'll be close to the radiator.

I'd bend over, grab your ankles and just get the Electric (SPAL) and go from there.
    Need a part? PM me.

Wasn't a question of should I; it was a question of what to do for a quick fix till I could get one....

          Already ordered a SPAL kit

I would not use stainless steel for a radiator, aluminum works much better.

Then why did you type steel?

Also, I'd look at getting a pusher fan and put it in front of the radiator (towards the front of the car)....I'm not sure you'll have enough room to run that slim puller fan...

I'm sure you've never made a mistake, right? Feel better about pointing it out like a dick face? Make you feel like a big man?

I've seen the slim used before but a pusher would be more apt.

I'll see how the puller works out, if it doesn't I'll flip the blade and switch the wiring to turn it into a pusher.

                    Thanks for the help guys!

                      I am a dick face. I apologize.

I would figure a pusher is more efficient than a puller, right? I'll be in the same boat once I figure out my cooling system/ a/c setup shortly

You are keeping A/C, you need a pusher and a puller to get the most thermal exchange for your rad and condenser.

I've had pretty good results with my setup, and I also kept a/c.

Puller fan would not clear on my s50 with m20 radiator, had to install pusher.
