    Overlord475's S50B30US Build / Swap Thread

    Hey guys!

This is the project thread for my 1989 325i S50 build!!! I'll be updating it as I move forward with the car and make progress.

Nice start! I love the lime green. I painted my s50 block the same color.

I like your flywheel-- not bad for a steel part. Did you have someone local do the work and what did it start out as (if you don't mind me asking)? It looks like you are doing everything nicely, you'll really enjoy it in the end when it's all done properly.

PM me if you want some help as I have done a 24V and manual swap at the same time also. I can round up a BMW MofO or two perhaps to dig in.

That would be awesome. The shop is just North of Owasso, and I'll probably be there everyday this week.

Overlord, lord of the underworld. That is one nice car for that money and it seems like this isn't your first time in swap land.

It is my first time actually, ha. But, I'm an engineering student and I've done my research.

I'm not a half 'A' kind of person... So if I can't do it right or can't afford to than I won't do it at all.

Thanks for the complements guys! And yes, be jealouse because the car was a crazy steal at $1500 :D

Housing came with motor. When I left he was getting ready to bolt up the G260 and the starter. Pending parts from Autohaus AZ we could have this wrapped by Sat.
