I'm running a 8.5lb flywheel with the M5 clutch set-up and no problems at all. However, one thing you'll need to deal with is the chatter.

What if my car started out with a daul-mass flywheel. I have read that it has a sprung hub clutch. What do I need to do during my M50 swap to be able to run a lightweight flywheel with the stock getrag 260?

Someday a real rain will come and wash all this scum off the streets.

                for starters , run a shaved m20 fly...or a stock euro 323 fly......

I love sitting down and just driving!

I think I'm going to run a single mass from an 82-83 528e. It's almost the same as the 323 flywheel, but just a little bit lighter, and a little bit cheaper.

How do you like the 323 flywheel? Also, is an M20 Sachs replacement clutch enough for an M50 with a few bolt-ons or should I go with something rated for a bit more power?
