    m50nv exhaust question

I just put m50nv engine in my e30 and ready for exhaust work. I have a complete exhaust from 328is (from headers to tips) and wondering if it would work with little massage. My plan is to use obdII manifolds all the way to cats, and then single 2.5" pipe after cats with some aftermarket muffler on the end. Will this work? Has anyone have done something similar? And finally will this setup pass emissions? Any input is appreciated. Thanks

I have obd2 cats on mine and it passes cali smog. I know for sure seattle's smog is less stringent. Just make sure you keep the cats hot when your waiting in line

      MUCH less stringent.

I passed emissions in Auburn with 1 year old bad gas, a bad knock sensor and a poorly tuned chip with flying colors.

Thanks guys. Its good to know that emissions is not an issue. I guess my concern is sound. I'm not sure if anyone runs this setup with m50 swap. I don't want it to sound like crap.
