    PS hose info needed pls...s50....

I never really looked that hard at my PS hoses on my s50 swap. I had a shop do the swap that is familiar w/ such swaps.

Ive recently noticed some typical s50 PS leaks, so over the past few weeks Ive learned ALOT about the set up.......

BUT.....Ive noticed that my line from the res. to the rack does not have the typical cooler/bundle of snakes that realoem shows. I instead have a short rubber hose from res that enters a hard line going into the rack. Im leaking at that crimp coupling bet the hrd and soft line.......but I dont know what p/n that is?

do yall run the bundle of snakes cooler/.....or?....

Im glad I found the leak....but Im wondering what part to order?....

    a bit stumped..

They may have run a modified line. I used all e36 lines on mine (which is where that coil or bundle of lines come into view), but that was because I was also using an e36 steering rack.

Your best bet is either post up a picture, or ask the shop that did it for you.

I don't run the bundle of snakes line. I used a line from the S14, cut down a little. PN 32411134693.

Fred, my man...I looked at realoem and your p/n look just about perfect....!

        You rock..as usual.

..... when you say cut down, do you mean the rubber portion?...

Yes, the rubber portion needs to be cut to length. Use a new razor blade, and allow for a little slack, but not so much that the hose kinks.

I'm using the an E36 rack as well, and I just went and pulled the line from the rack to the pump off of a junkyard E36.

Just be sure to bend it or modify its mounting tabs. Otherwise it MAY rub the oil pan.
