What is the Maximum an m50 can be bored?

As the title says, what is the maximum an m50 engine can be bored past 84mm? I've heard of people using S52 pistons, crank, rods, etc. But I want some definite answers from people who have done it. Thanks guys!

Why? Get an alloy block if you are spending that kind of money. Unless you can do that cheap...
Drive it hard. Maintain it well.

I can do it very cheap.. I have a few good machine shops here, they are just not BMW specialists. But whatever I tell them, they will do exactly as I say. Kinda like the idea of building a "poor man's" S50 or S52. I have a bunch of M50 engines laying around the shop and a perfect 89 325i and after doing my first M50 swap for a customer car last week, the performance bug bit me !!
