    hyperextended slave cyl

So I hyperextended a new clutch slave cylinder and then when I got a new one and installed it and drove the car around, there's a piece of it rattling around irregularly inside the tranny.

What's the best way to get it out?

Edit: and I have no idea what it is because the rod/rubber ring thing were still attached

I'd say unbolt the driveshaft, unbolt the trans from the motor, pull them apart while still in the car, attempt to retrieve parts w/ a magnet.

What trans you running? Fish it outta the Oil pan bolt holes in the bellhousing
