    chip for obd1 s52

I am currently looking for best chip option for my s52. I've heard many great things about TRM chips and couple of bad ones, same goes for TMS. Has anyone tried both? I am leaning more towards TRM at this moment but any feedback is appreciated.

I noticed that when choosing a chip for my application at TRM site, they do not have options for exhaust. The flywheel options show "stock" or "lightweight", but I have a flywheel from ETA shaved to 18lbs.(lol). Do I go with "stock"?.

    Thanks

TRM is a great place to work with. They have great customer service and will help you with a cutom tailored chip. Call them with any questions and they'll straighten you out.

As for the lightweight flywheel option it only increases your idle. With an 18lbs flywheel I don't think you have anything to worry about there. If you were 13> then I would worry. My roomate has this chip in his car and it performs flawlessly. I had their chip in one of my cars with great success as well.

I'm looking at the TRM OBD1 S52 24# 3.5" 93oct chip. What kind of gains does this tune give?

I just recieved the trm chip last night. I will report back after install and test drive tonight. The chip i ordered is for obd1 s52, 21.5lbs inj., m50 mani, stock s50 hfm and flywheel(although it is a lighten eta flywheel to 19lbs...lol, trm recommended that i pick the stock flywheel option, which i did).
Oh and thank you matt for the coupon code!!!every little bit helps!

Well, it will depend on the dyno and a lot of other factors. I would guess you will pick up 5-10%. IE you will start at 190-210whp and end up at 200-230whp.
