S50B32 without MAF?

Have heard that the S50B32 is running just as normal without the MAF.
I'm thinking of buying a CF box, and will then remove the MAF.

I have dynoed my car with the MAF connected and disconnected, and it was not more change in result than you would get in two pulls.

So, any thoughts?

you would have to flash the dme with alpha N.

No need of that since the engine is running just fine without the MAF. Many here in norway run CF box and just remove the MAF.

It has a fail safe program in case of MAF malfunction. It does revert to a crude alpha N type tune.

You would get more power with a proper flash though.

You don't have tuners in Norway that can tune your car on the dyno? You're gonna make a good amount more power that way than with the Azevedo/Oscar Velez/no-one-really-knows-who-did-it tune floating around the US, especially with a CF box.

Nobody I've talked to knows what the flash floating around the US was setup for (CF box, cams, etc...).

Just sendt them an e-mail. I see they sell S54 flash, so they can probably flash my S50 as well. Just a question of what it cost!
