what diff to use???

what diiff should i use in my swap im using a 1997 328i m52 engine with 5speed tranny from the same 328i.
im currently running a 4.10LSD on my 87 325is

also do i need to make any mods to the tranny or will it bolt straight in?
this is my first swap ever so any tips on how to make the swap a little easy will great! :D

Usually 3.25 but it depends what you want from your car...more around town or more highway.

i drive more in highway, i really like the 4..10 but i dont think that is going to be a good setup. plus i need something that wont waste that much gas, $4.69 a gallon is starting to get to me haha

Its all preference... But many like 3.25. Thats what I have and it goes well with the getrag tranny.

alot of good info on this if you search the site. I use a 3.25 for my s50 and I love it
