I have rebuild my supercharged s50 and since then i can not fix this annoying problem . The engine has bad idle just like over-camed engine and extremely hard to drive. Under load the engine will start cutting pinging, knocking heavy, backfiring and the engine almost dies. This will happen every time more than 15% gas applied. So basically if i drive the car i can not push the gas pedal more than 15% otherwise the engine will start cutting and heavily knocking. Under accelaration when kconiking accours at 4,5 and six cylinders headers get super red and 1,2 and 3 do not get heat up so much. If gas is applied slowly, engine will slowly rev up to 5k rpm and start knocking again.
I have:
Changed the software to NickG
changed fuel pump
changed fuel pressure regulator
changed fuel filter
changed injectors
changed ground resistor to the coils
checked fuel pressure 45 psi at idle
changed spark plugs
AFR 19 at idle 14-12.5 3-4k rpm with a lot of pinging
AFR are suppose to be high 14s at idle high 11s at high rmps
no codes stored
changed Air flow meter
checked all vacuum lines 10 times
checked all wiring 10 times
changed Idle control valve
and still the same problem.
Could it be camshaft positioning sensor?
What do you think could solve my problem?
Thank you for your help as i'm clue less at the moment and most of the mechanics i know are to.
