S52 headers + downpipe clearance with an M50?

I don't browse these forums too often as I will soon give birth to a 24v e30 myself, so I almost feel like this question has been answered a shitload of times but I can't find the right thread for it.
In short, I'm getting an M50NV so I'm gonna need a whole new exhaust setup obviously. I'm getting a good deal on S52 headers + downpipe, so I'm wondering, will there be any clearance issues with these? I'm gonna fab up the rest of the exhaust myself so that part isn't going to be an issue.

Stock s52 headers? I had to hack up the downpipe to get this setup to work on my car, I actually added a flex section in front and banged in one of the pipes a little. Then I wisened up and got eyeball arms which improved clearance down there. Might still need to do some work as the front most manifold dumps out directly above the front subframe. This is the one I cut and welded at a steeper angle, and added a flex section to.

yep stock S52 headers. I don't want to get racelands cause I'm getting a pretty good deal on these. I can't bolt up the stock E30 exhaust system to the S52 Headers right?

whats is a pretty good deal? I got my headers for like 101$ shipped on ebay, and looks much better

and no the e30 dont bolt directly to s50 stuff, you will need s50 mid pipes, thats more $, and if you dont have them its PITA to connect exhaust to them

          Please leave feedback below, thanks

Please don't buy eBay headers. Don't follow the crowd. But then again, I'm sure your state's emission laws are probably nothing compared to the great state of California.

tell us why not to buy those Ebay headers, because paying 900+ for a pair of turner shortys is such a good idea.

You guys who bought EBay headers....any of you know if the M50 headers clear everything in an E30? Or do you need to bend 'em?

24V M50, M3 cams, Turner Tune, full exhaust, ect....

I bought the cheapest ones possible and they fit without a problem. I have good clearance everywhere.

So what do you guys recommend? I really want to stick with the S52 headers since I can get them for pretty cheap. I want to save as much money as I can so I can get coilovers right after I install the M50 haha

kinda in the same situation. dropped the engine in last night. one of the stock header downpipes hits the subrafme so it will not work. I am looking at ebay longtube headers. can anyone confirm they fit?
                              Thanks
